Social Media Time Savers for Virtual Assistants

If  you follow me on Twitter you’ll have noticed that for the past week or so I’ve sent out a tweet that looks like the one below every day:

twitter-tweet

The virtual-assistants Daily is a compilation of tweets, links, RT’s and information shared on Twitter by the other virtual assistants I follow there.  I started it because some days are just so busy that I don’t get much time to check Twitter, but I really hate missing all the great information.  Then, it was such a great way for me to stay up to date, I thought, “gee, maybe other virtual assistants would find it useful too”. So I decided to share it with everyone.  If you don’t follow me on Twitter you can find me @TMarieHilton.  If you’d like to get a chance at having your tweets included in the Daily, send me an @ or DM on Twitter, leave me a comment at the end of this post or send me an e-mail.

Now that’s great for Twitter, but what about all of those great virtual assistant assistantedgeblogs that are out there?  Well, I have a time-saver for those too. Launching today,  AssistantEdge is giving us one place to stop in and see just what our fellow virtual assistants are writing about.  I’m honored to be a featured source there. I love the fact that it allows me to see the latest posts by great virtual assistants, but still leads me to each assistants site to read the entire article.  This is also a great place to refer to those interested in working with a VA, not only allowing them to learn about virtual assistance, but a chance to find a wide variety of virtual assistants that they may be interested in working with.

I’m a firm believer in staying involved in social media for my business, as my latest posts on Getting Clients will explain in detail. Yet the busier I get, the more I have to find ways to do
