Marketing Tips for Virtual Assistants and more

The first in a series of posts focusing on teaching small business owners some marketing tips. I’m calling them ‘fishing lessons’ in reference to the proverb ” Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime”.  The aim of this series is to help those who are struggling to build a client base learn what has worked for others of us who have managed to build one.

If you’re a virtual assistant with tips to share, you could become part of one of the fishing lessons with a link to your website.  Send your tip to tmariehilton@clericaladvantage.net.

    Marketing Tip from Eydie’s Office:
    Social Media Networking!

Connect with anyone who wants to connect with you in places like LinkedIN, Plaxo, FaceBook, Ning (www.eydiesoffice.ning.com) because it’s a SOCIAL PLATFORM strategy. Social Networking positions you for maximum visibility to those who might be in your niche.

It’s all about the 6 degrees of separation so consider this Social Networking a virtual rolodex.
