“What do I do next?”
It’s the question that more new and struggling virtual assistants have asked me over the past two and a half years more than any other.
This is the question that lead me to write the VA Survival Guide.
There are dozens of books out there on how to be a virtual assistant. It’s my job to convince you why my book is different and ultimately worth paying good money for. So where do I start?
Let’s start with the fact that there are dozens of books out there on how to be a virtual assistant.
Wait!
Before you click the mouse, shaking your head at the poor forgetful virtual assistant, rest assured I just repeated myself for a reason.
You see the key words in that sentence are ‘how to be a virtual assistant’. Lots of people seem to be willing to share that information with the masses. There are a lot fewer willing to share information on how to become successful as a virtual assistant, and even fewer who are willing to give you details on the ins and outs of running your own virtual assistant business.
And that’s why so many VA’s end up asking “What do I do next?”. They’ve learned how to start their businesses, but then they are left on their own to sink or swim.
It sort of reminds me of baby sea turtles. Only about .001% of the baby sea turtles that hatch will be successful in making it to the water alive. Taking our cue from nature, is it any wonder so few virtual assistant businesses survive, let alone thrive?
That’s why I was determined to make the VA Survival Guide different from all the rest. I wanted to share not how to start a business, but rather how to ‘do’ business.
And there it is. That’s what makes this book different from the rest. It’s the motivating factor that should prompt you to hit that buy now button and purchase the book.
This book takes you beyond the start-up and addresses the reality of running a virtual assistant business.
(If you’re convinced now, feel free to click here, if not keep reading…)
If all I was trying to do was sell my book I might be able to leave it at that. Oh sure, I’d elaborate and tell you that the book is available with a companion workbook that includes helpful worksheets, templates and even a pricing calculator to help you determine if you’re setting your rates appropriately. I’d also throw in a great ‘freebie’.
And because this book really is different than most of what’s out there I might even get you to buy with that sales pitch.
But that isn’t my goal with the VA Survival Guide.
Sure, I want to sell copies. I’d be lying if I said otherwise. But I want more than that.
I’ve compiled this book because I have an honest desire to help other virtual assistants. I believe that the material I share in the VA Survival Guide is some of the best advice for virtual assistants there is. Not because I’m such a great writer or talented teacher, its because it is filled with information I have learned and used in building my own virtual assistant business.
Although my book certainly isn’t a ‘magic pill’ for success, it will help you prepare yourself for the ins and outs of the virtual assistance business. And a prepared VA tends to impress clients and potential clients which in turn leads to more business.
“…your VA Survival Guide is the most detailed book on the VA (Virtual Assistant) Industry that I have come across. I like the fact that you are taking the VA “…beyond the start up”. Because, although I’m not there yet, it is helpful thinking ahead to what’s next…” ~Sherri Barlow; future virtual assistant

You want a better idea of what lies between the pages before you shell out your hard earned cash?
Ok, you can read my VA Survival Series of posts on my blog. This book was born while I was writing those posts. The problem was, I had so much information that I felt was important to share that it just wouldn’t logically fit into those blog posts. So essentially, the blog posts are the outline. The book itself goes into detail on each topic.
How cool is that? With most e-books you have to buy them before you find out what topics are covered.
Many of you have commented on how helpful the Survival Series has been, if that’s the case, then you can imagine how having even more information and more details can only be even more helpful, right?
Oh, and did I mention the workbook?
(not quite sure? Keep reading…)
If you’re like me as I was struggling to build my business, you really like the sound of this. In fact, this sounds like it just might be the thing to help you push past those roadblocks to success that you’ve been trying to get around. But there’s that cautious little voice in the back of your mind. And what is that voice saying?
“How much is this wonderful book and workbook combo going to cost me?”
When it came to pricing the Guide & Workbook set, I kept in mind what it was like when I was just starting my VA business. I remember how many times I thought I’d found the perfect eBook or eCourse to really help me build my business, only to get to the pricing page and have my heart sink. I just didn’t have the money to spend $100, $200 or even more on a product at that point in time.
My goal in pricing the VA Survival Guide was to try to make it affordable for everyone.
I’ve decided the best way to do that is to offer it at a special price for a limited time. During this time the VA Survival Guide and Workbook can be purchased for just $30. That’s less than the cost of dinner for two at your local restaurant.
Did I mention the amazing bonus that I’m offering during that limited time?
What if I told you that for that price not only would you get the VA Survival Guide & Workbook, but that you’d also get Grant Griffiths fabulous book “31 Days to Kick Your Blog in the Butt” e-book & workbook and his “30 Days of Twitter Tips and Hints”?
Believe me when I tell you that Grant’s titles alone are worth four times that amount or more. People everywhere have raved about his step by step guide to making your blog work for your business.
So let’s get this straight. For $30 you get:
- VA Survival Guide with tons of helpful information about actually working and building your virtual assistant business.
- The Workbook that includes worksheets and templates that help you take what you’ve learned and put it into action, over and over again.
- Grant Griffiths’ fabulous “31 Days to Kick Your Blog in the Butt” e-book & workbook which will provide invaluable help in marketing your virtual assistant business with your blog.
- “30 Days of Twitter Tips & Hints” yet another great title by Grant Griffiths that can help you learn to use Twitter to your business advantage.
That’s a crazy amount of help for your VA business for just $30. So crazy that I can only offer this for a limited time.
